  • You can enter a PLAYMOBIL® set number and get a Subscribed Link to the PlaymoDB. If you add the keyword "playmobil" prior the set number, you will get a Subscribed Link to the german PLAYMOBIL® site with the archived or current catalogue page from PLAYMOBIL®. Neither PlaymoDB nor PLAYMOBIL® provide a complete collection of sets to their sites.
  • if you type in a spare part number, you will also get a Subscribed Link to the PlaymoDB that shows the related spare part page.

 Known Issues:

  • So far you have to enable JavaScript in your Browser. If you don't like JavaScript to be enabled (hey, we have web 2.0, folks) go to this site.
  • Redirects in the refinement section and Subscribed Links load destination sites inside the PLAYMOBIL® Search Engine site since this has been realized by iframes. However it is a known bug by Google and should be solved soon!
  • You might find the search index incomplete, as there are results you would get in the big Google but not in this search engine. Well,  one reason is of course not all sites are currently recorded that you may find relevant for a Playmobil search engine. You can change this situation by contributing to this project.
  • If you miss results from web sites that are already covered by this custom search engine it could have two causes. Do you receive these results in the big Google? If not, maybe you should optimize your site regarding search engine crawler needs and requirements (SEO). If you do see them in the big Google, then watch out for a "supplemental index" tag at the results. This is a hint that your site has still some problems violating against search engine crawler rules. But it is also a known bug. Google currently ignores the supplemental index for the custom search engines but does not for their regular search.
